Three Artists, Three Ways
The three artists featured in this show often meet and paint together. When they paint the same subject matter, the creations that result reveal three distinct styles of painting. In this show you will be able to determine that one is an Impressionist painter, one is a Realist, and one is a Colorist.
This show has a variety of subjects represented. There are still life paintings of fruit, vegetables, florals, and other objects. You will also see portraits, landscapes, and animal life. As you view this art, you will imagine a spot in your own home that each piece would work.
The three artists represented in this show are Theresa dePerrodil Trahan of Gueydan, Shirley Gauthier of St. Martinville, and Ann Ella Joubert of Church Point.
Rounding out the show is a collection of exquisite hand-painted and enameled porcelain by artist Sarah O. Picard. Sarah has studied her art both nationally and internationally. Don't miss seeing Sarah's work.
Three Artists, Three Ways is a show not to be missed. Come in Wednesdays to Saturdays through September.
